National award-winning educator Robb Janov was featured on the PBS Newshour, earned a Creative Bravos Award and was chosen as an ING Unsung Hero and PBS American Graduate Champion. Robb is a live-looping electric violin solo artist and provides multi-style workshops, consulting and residencies at public schools and universities. He has composed music for/acted in TV & film productions including: Jane Got a Gun (Natalie Portman), Sweetwater (Ed Harris) and Graves (Nick Nolte). He currently serves as music coach & consultant for the Nickelodeon TV series, The Really Loud House. Janov’s classical background includes 4 seasons with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and performances with Indiana University’s Orchestra program.
